The story ended with a lot of unanswered questions which can be cliffhangers for the readers to determine the answers to them.However, there is a conclusion for the main characters as they had reached their ultimate goal, the Sealand. Although, from the way the Sealand woman spoke when she first appeared in the story, we could see that they discriminated and looked down on the normal people, at least David and his friends belonged to the majority in the city, the approved ones.They would be safe in that community, unlike in Waknuk, where they were constantly afraid of being found out as mutants,thus pretending to be norms. Sealand would be where their future continues. Therefore, I think this is a good ending.
